VirdTVStream CORS Unlocker ("the extension") is a lightweight utility designed solely to enable seamless IPTV video playback on the VirdTVStream web application (hosted at https://labrujasiete.github.io/VirdTVStream/).

2. Data Collection and Usage

The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data or browsing activity. Specifically:

• No Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is accessed or collected.
• No browsing history, bookmarks, or web traffic metadata are saved or monitored.
• No cookies, credentials, or session data are intercepted.
• No third-party analytics or tracking libraries are embedded.

3. Permissions

The extension requires the following permissions strictly to perform its core function:

• declarativeNetRequest: Used to modify HTTP response headers (adding standard CORS headers such as Access-Control-Allow-Origin) so that public video streams can be rendered by the HTML5 video player.
• Host Permissions (<all_urls>): Necessary because public IPTV streams are hosted on diverse, decentralized third-party servers and CDNs. Network modifications are strictly limited via the initiatorDomains rule to requests originating from labrujasiete.github.io.
